James Goldman is an owner operator of Arri Ultra Primes, Sony FX9, Sony FX6, Sony FX3, RED Komodo X, Aputure, Broncolor Para and Parabolix lighting systems.

Dear Future Children, a documentary on Netflix, which James Goldman worked on as a unit director of photography in Hong Kong was qualified for an Academy Award / Oscar in 2023.

In 2019, He was among the first to earn certification at Certified Training for large-format camera system; Arri Signature Primes, Alexa 65 and Alexa LF at Arri Academy Munich, Germany.

James Goldman began asisting on film and photography sets since 8 years old. He gets his first professional photography, then TV gig at 15. James studied BA (Hons) Journalism Studies at Falmouth Collage of Arts (now Falmouth University) in Cornwall. As a photographer he contributed to Country Life, Boat International, Classic Boats, Practical Boat Ower and Falmouth Packet. He then worked as a photojournalist at The Independent newspaper in Canary Wharf, London, photographing John Major, Former British Prime Minister, campaigns for London Mayor election, Buckingham Palace, David Bailey, May Day Riots and assignments from the news desk.
